Bethany "Dr. Beth" Munzel founded the Vision Therapy Studio of Cincinnati in 2014 because she wanted to help patients with a variety of visual conditions who weren’t getting the care they needed.

 

Though starting the practice required determination, dedication, and lots of continuing education, the Vision Therapy Studio is now helping many people achieve their best vision. No one can do this work alone and Dr. Beth is thrilled to have a dedicated team who give so much to help people improve their vision.

 

Dr. Beth received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of Dayton. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She had internship opportunities studying ocular disease at Washington University School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology and she studied vision therapy with renowned optometrist Dr. Lynn Hellerstein in Denver, Colorado.

Early in her career, she practiced comprehensive family optometry in South Carolina and Michigan before returning to Cincinnati. She also served as the first optometrist at the OneSight Vision Center at Oyler School in Lower Price Hill.

Dr. Beth earned the distinction of becoming Board Certified in Vision Development as a Fellow in the Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation Association in 2016.  She served as a member of the Children's Vision Committee of the Ohio Optometric Association. She has spoken to optometrists at the Cincinnati Optometric Association numerous times.

 

Beth’s interests, experiences, and education have made her well suited to direct patient care at the Vision Therapy Studio and she is looking forward to helping you!
